About Me
My Background
My name is Alicia, Certified Labor Doula, mother of 4, living in Ocean County, New Jersey. As a former nursing student and college graduate, I have experience with medical terminology in the Labor & Delivery field. I also have worked as an Activity Director in nursing homes, caring for the elderly population in bringing fun and enjoyment to their lives.
I primarily serve Monmouth and Ocean Counties. I enjoy helping women embark on their birthing journey through physical, emotional, and informational support. Each pregnancy is a unique miracle, and labor is unique to each pregnancy and mother. Helping you in whatever way you choose to birth - epidural, unmedicated, Cesarean, induction, home birth - is what a birth doula does best. It is important to birth the way YOU want to!

What I Do
All pregnancies are different, and that’s why I work with each client to develop a customized plan for pregnancy, birth, and beyond. I support YOU in the way YOU want to birth. Do you want to try pushing in positions other than your back? Do you want delayed cord clamping? Intermittent fetal monitoring? I will support you with hands-on comfort techniques, position changes (including on the birth ball and peanut ball), and helping your partner support you as well! With my birthing guidance, I offer unwavering support to you, your partner, and your family before, during, and after birth. I will stay in close contact in order to routinely check how you’re doing and step in with anything you might need.
Postpartum Support
Here for You
Pregnancy, birth, and the early days of adjusting to motherhood can be stressful. My role with my Postpartum Support service is coming soon as I continue my certification. In the meantime, I can refer you to some wonderful, compassionate Postpartum Doulas!
Prenatal Visits
Informative and Compassionate
I take on a limited number of clients at any one time to make sure I can give you the full care and attention you deserve. By offering Prenatal Visits, along with additional support through calls, texts, and e-mails, my goal is to reduce any stress, allowing you to pay attention to your body and your baby.
